Marion County, IA | 103± Acre Hunting & Recreational Farm This 103.87-acre Marion County farm along Highway 14 offers a proven whitetail setup with the habitat and history to back it up. Accessible from Des Moines in under an hour, the property features 44.78 acres of mature Forest Reserve timber, 33.3 acres of CRP generating approximately $5,095 annually with the contract in place through 2030, and 12.6 acres of row crop tillable ground where the current tenant leaves standing crop through hunting season to hold deer on the property. The habitat is well developed with established food plots, a north-south running creek creating a primary travel corridor, a second creek running from the southwest corner to the northeast as an additional funnel, and a pond on the southwest corner providing year-round water. Trail camera history documents consistent mature whitetail activity on the property. The seclusion of this farm is a key factor in why mature deer use it as a safe haven year after year. Access is provided via a 30-foot easement. Zoned A-1 Agricultural.
